Meet our Teacher at Music Together Columbus

At Music Together Columbus, we share a common passion with all Music Together® Centers and teachers - to make the world a more musical place!

All teachers have successfully completed the live Music Together® Teacher Training, which is built on research in early childhood and music development. We keep our skills fresh through workshops every semester and advanced trainings offered by Music Together Worldwide.

Elizabeth Cottle

Elizabeth’s love for music began in childhood, surrounded by a family who played, sang, and shared music together. She grew up playing piano and violin and singing in choir, sparking a lifelong passion for making and sharing music.

With a Bachelor of Music in Piano Pedagogy and many years of experience, Elizabeth has taught students of all ages—from young children discovering their first rhythms to adults returning to music later in life. Since 2008, she has shared her passion for music through teaching and community programs. In 2023, she opened Music Together Columbus to bring joyful music-making to families in the community.

Elizabeth believes music isn’t just something to listen to, it’s something to experience and share. It builds connections, creates community, and helps children express themselves long before they have words. Through Music Together Columbus, her goal is to provide a welcoming space where families can sing, play, and grow together, creating lasting memories along the way.

When she’s not making music, Elizabeth loves to read, travel, spend time outdoors, and enjoy life with her husband and their three kids.
